This section will gradually grow, with portraits of celebrities who move me.
Marylin, quite simply
This portrait of Marylin, bright and all smiles, is created in the style of a mosaic on a canvas stretched on an 80x80x4 cm frame, in acrylic, metallic gold leaf oxidized in places, and small collages (tissue paper, fake diamonds ). Varnished finish.
When Marylin becomes Norma-Jean again
The title is evocative, the fragility of Marylin far from sequins, rhinestones and show business. Acrylic on 70x50 cm canvas which has previously been coated with paste in order to create reliefs and irregularities, framed in a black American frame which contrasts with the blues, final dimension 76x56.5 cm, varnished finish.
Marianne, shadow and light
Marianne, her face partly in shadow, has an expression both serene and determined. Collage music notes and flowers float around her, symbolizing hope, gentleness and rebirth, but also fragility.
Acrylic paint, hand-oxidized gold leaf, modeling past on 92x73 cm linen stretcher, varnish finish.

Marianne and butterflies
(SOLD) I'm a celebrity in my own way, my name is Marianne, I'm the symbol of the French Republic, I'm both old and ageless. Despite the troubled and anxious times France is going through, here I've chosen to show myself light and carefree, to represent youth, to show myself free as I should be, even if many evocations can be interpreted here, according to each person's feelings and vision. Acrylic and aerosol on 55x46 cm canvas, varnish finish.
Marianne's tear
Marianne remains symbolic and modern. A drip of paint, acting as a tear running down her cheek, expresses a certain sadness or melancholy, and adds emotional depth, contrasting with the gaiety of the flowers, and the symbol of freedom and resistance that Marianne traditionally embodies.
