L'Afrique, sa chaleur et ses couleurs, saupoudrées d'une pointe d' Inde, sont une source d' inspiration. Chaque toile raconte une histoire, je vous invite à trouver ce que cela fait résonner en vous.

Slivers of coffee
A lively, exotic composition, the sparkle of coffee in every sense of the word. With reliefs created by tissue paper and coffee grounds, on acrylic paint, coffee glaze and gold leaf with varnish finish, on 55x46 cm canvas stretcher.

African queen, the face of Africa
Here, Africa takes the form of a face, or maybe it's the other way around. The headdress, all in relief, is also a symbol, many elements coming from recycled computers, or objects representing gold, diamonds and, ultimately, the exploitation of Africa. Mixed media, collage with gilded metal foil background on canvas reinforced with cardboard backing and wood plate, mounted on 84x66 cm stretcher. Resin for flawless collage and extreme gloss in some areas, varnish finish elsewhere. Double framing, one gilded directly on the canvas, the other black in American frame style. Framed dimensions 80x60 cm. Varnish finish.

Taj-Mahal
(SOLD, found a family in France). A ma façon, suggestion imaginaire, acrylic, modeling clay and gold leaf on 33x41 cm canvas, varnish finish.

Black beauty
It's all in the title for this almost-twin sister of Principessa. Acrylic and gold leaf on 40x80 cm canvas stretcher, varnish finish.
This canvas suffered damage, which has been very solidly repaired and is not visible from the front (see additional photos). It is therefore on special offer!

Mama Africa
(SOLD, adopted in France). My own portrayal of an encounter in an African market. Mixed media on 70x50 cm canvas, varnish finish.

Mama Africa 2
The false twin of the painting Mama Africa, based on a photo taken during a trip to Senegal. Lots of color for this mixed media work, resin and banana leaf fiber collage on canvas stretcher, in a black American frame, total size 76.7x56.7 cm. Varnish finish.

Passe-muraille
Influence d'Afrique, mixed-media profile portrait with a play of transparency between the pouring hair and the bricks made of sand painted in cheerful tones and worked to evoke a colorful, raised wall through which the portrait seems to pass. Canvas on 100x100 cm x 2 cm stretcher, varnish finish.

Let's rock
An Afro-American look for this profile portrait of a woman, with the determined gaze of a copper-skinned rock singer. Colorful hair created using the pouring technique. Small reliefs on the black background. Gold leaf and copper leaf on 100x100 cm canvas stretcher. Varnish finish.

Golden black and blue
Africa is a continent that Anne Robin is very attracted to and has begun to discover. She drew inspiration from it for several portraits, including this profile portrait of a young African woman on a background of golden leaves, with an imitation relief frame, varnish finish. Dimensions 69x49 cm.

Mother earth
The false twin of the painting African Queen, in spirit and execution, i.e. Africa in the face of a woman, whose headdress is partly made of recycled objects, such as computer parts. On 70x50 cm canvas consolidated with rigid cardboard. Copper leaf. Resin and varnish finish.
Framed in black American wood, final dimensions 76x57 cm.

Ada
Some of the places Anne Robin has visited have had a greater impact on her than others. Africa is one of them.... In this colorful universe, here's a pretty young girl she met in Senegal. Mixed media and reliefs, collages of fake locks of hair. The 55x46 cm canvas is framed in black wood, so the total dimensions are 67x57.5 cm.
